I talk about all these great ways that you can get your site known on the internet. I talk all about getting your site known and those are a lot of great ideas for the internet. And you really should think about using them because it can bring a swarm of people to your site that can really help you grow. However, I am going to give you a couple of ideas on how you might want to really get your site known even off line because it is something that I have tried with this blog. And THEN I will offer something free to everyone that wants.
- Get pens made: Did you know that it is very easy to just hand a pen out to someone if they ask for it. They take the pen, go home, and then see your website on it. They get curious, go to your site and voila, you’ve got someone on your site. Now, if they happen to give that pen to someone else, soon enough, it is spreading around.
- Carry Business Cards: You know, people don’t realize it, but carrying business cards is an amazing way to make some money on the internet. Say someone asks for your number…You just give them the business card. Or, if you need to write something down for someone, use one of your business cards. They take the card, go home, see the websites and voila, you’ve got a visitor.
- Get T-Shirts made: I intend on doing this for some of my sites because you are wearing it, so people are naturally going to be curious. If they see the shirt enough times, they may want to go home and just see what the site is. If it sounds catchy, they may be curious and voila, you’ve got a visitor.
These are THREE ideas on ways you can get promotion. Now, I decided that I wanted to try it out for this site. So, I went to this site that deals in promotional marketing and I told them what I was looking for. They found me the cheapest deal on the net and I must say, I was very pleased with their services. I HIGHLY recommend it. Now, because of an error on my part, I accidentally put “DormEarnings.com” so that is what the pen says. But don’t worry…I own that domain name too, so it’ll just forward to this site. How does this help you? Do you want a free pen from your FAVORITE site?
All you need to do is comment on this blog. If you comment, I will have your e-mail and I’ll send you an e-mail. All I’ll need is your address and I will mail it to you. Just like that, you’ll have a pen. I don’t know if this’ll work, but if you want a pen from your favorite blog about making money online, leave a comment. Thanks everyone for being great readers! Consider this my way of thanking you!

Although this blog does not have many ads on it yet, I am a firm believer in using a few methods to earn. What I am going to do instead of telling you how you should earn on your site is I am going to tell you how I intend on earning on this site. I’ll list the methods I intend on using and then allow you to determine whether those methods sound good or sound bad for you. Anyways…Let’s get started, eh?
- Adsense: Obviously you all have seen the adsense ads on this site. It is a sure sign that most sites, if not all, should have Adsense on it because it is a very easy way to make money if you are bringing people to your site. I recommend signing up for it if you have not already.
- Kontera: Kontera is a PPC company; however, the ads are actually in the text. I intend on putting this into the code in the next few days because I think that it is a good way to earn if you’ve got lengthy articles and people are coming to your site. I’ll write about this in more detail later on.
- Text-Link-Ads: I obviously intend on using this. I don’t have the time to try and sell links, so I use them because it allows me to focus on other important things while they are selling the links for me. I definitely recommend using them if you are thinking of selling links.
- Review Me or PayPerPost: This is a paid review site where you, the blogger, gets paid to write reviews. The better your site is, as in, more RSS readers, more traffic, and higher page rank, the more money you can potentially make. So, if you want to help me out, subscribe to my RSS feed.
- Google Referrals or Amazon: Because this site is all about making money, I am going to try and put an affiliate program up where you can purchase books and the such and I can get a commission from it. If I do accomplish this, I may start another section where I review books that I think are good for you to read to better your growth.
- ADSDAQ: This is a new form of advertising and it is CPM. I intend on incorporating this onto the blog, especially since I am one of the beta testers. However, I tried to put it on this morning and all I got was a weird look to the blog, so I am going to have to wait for more sizes to come out. However, it really could be a good move and might make some money.
Those are the systems I intend to implement onto the site to earn more money. Now, you may be thinking that the site is going to look absolutely cluttered with ads. However, that’s not really the case. The reviews will be actual blog posts. The text-links will be on the sidebar. The adsense is always where it is. The affiliate system will be at the end of a blog post probably. The kontera will just appear like links in the text. And the ADSDAQ will probably go in the header (this will be the only one that may look like clutter). I am a firm believer in monetizing your site. I believe that if you run the site, you ought to make money doing it. I won’t throw pop ups in your face ever or any of that. Anyways…These are just some of the ways I intend on earning. As you can see, I won’t be using Adsense as my sole income earner which is very important. But for now, it’s all I use.
