So do I! That’s why I’ve decided to enter a contest that really is quite easy. It’s being offered by home based business opportunities and sweepstakes. They are looking to increase their links (which makes great sense), so to do that, they are giving away one hundred bucks. That’s right…You can get a Benjamin Franklin or two Grants or twenty Lincolns or ONE HUNDRED WASHINGTONS if you win this contest. So, I am sure you want to know the rules. Allow me to tell you them:

I just want to say that the ability to post an ad on a site like JohnChow.com or on JohnCow.com would cost a boat load of money.  And I am sorry, but that is not money that I have.  I don’t have the money to advertise on those two great sites and yet, I have found a way to do it for free.  For FREE!  When I found this out after reading a review, I decided that I absolutely NEEDED to go sign up.  I needed to get my butt over there and start to get ads on people’s blogs.  It’s free, so I figured that I really needed to.  Now, I am sure you’ve no idea what I am talking about, so let me tell you.

Entrecard is a networking site where, in a sense, you drop your business card on people’s blogs.   Your business card is a 125×125 button.  You sign up and then go around dropping your card on people’s blogs.  And then they come back and leave theirs on yours.  The hope is that you will start seeing new blogs of interest and you’ll get more readers in the process.  But, there is another big reason why you want to drop your business card and have people drop their business card on your blog.  You get points for dropping your card and being active in the community and those points is how you get amazing advertising.

As you drop and get dropped on more and more, the cost to buy an advert on your site goes up and up.  If you look at the sidebar, you’ll see the block where there is a random 125×125 button.  Each day, someone’s blog will appear there.  But, as you become more and more active, the cost to get it on your site goes higher and higher.  So, we get as active as we can so that we can get on blogs like JohnChow and JohnCow.  And I can say that I will be on JohnCow’s blog in the next few days and I am excited.  It really is a great way to get traffic I think.  So, how do you get points?  Here’s how:

• Drop your card onto someone else’s blog.  By doing this, you get one point added to your stash.
• Get a card dropped onto your blog.  By doing this, you get one point added to your stash.
• Selling the advert for one day.  You get whatever your current cost is which is decided by how active you are.

So, as you can see, there is a lot that you can do to try and get more points.  And really, it is a great way to get advertising.  I highly recommend it to people.  If you do decide to join, please stop by my blog and drop your card and I will do the same for you.  Then we can get more points for both of us and really go for the top.  Try, Entrecard out and let’s see if we can’t get more traffic because of it, eh?
