Theme: Auction Ads

May 25, 2007

As you can see, I added a new set of ads to the different posts on the site. These are called auction ads. They were a brilliant idea that basically said that if we all work together, we can make the most money from ebay. The way that ebay works is that they provide more and more % of profit based on how much money you send to them each month. The way auction ads works is that they pool all of the webmasters together. So, if we are supposed to make a 1% commission alone, pooled together, we could make 4%, and we all get the money together. So, in a sense, we’re making the money as if we are providing loads of sales when, in reality, we’re only providing a part.

This is great because it gives people a chance to really get involved in the “lucrative business of ebay’s affiliate program.” Basically, by pooling everyone together, it becomes one account. All the money that is sent to ebay from the ads that appear on the site is pooled into ‘auction ads.’ Then, at the end of the month, you get payment via check or paypal. I think that is one of their greatest features. All you need to do is get to ten dollars and they’ll send the money instantaneously to you via paypal. That’s a hell of a lot better than having to wait for one hundred dollars to be sent to by check from Google. The best part?

The best part is you have control over the keywords that you want the ads to appear. So, if you run a site that is all about cell phones, it’s very possible that you can make the ads become ONLY cell phones. This targets the ads a lot better than anything I have ever seen. When I made the ads for this site, I realized that there wasn’t anything in particular that people would find useful with the topic of this blog, so I just put iPod because I know so many people have them. And I have to say, I am finding some pretty good deals myself. I found a 1GB Nano for $69.00. I didn’t buy it; however, it really does look like this will show you all the great deals that ebay can potentially offer.

People have said that auction ads is actually giving them more money than adsense. My theory, though, is very simple and you all know it. It is a bad idea to only have one method of earning. My advice is to throw adsense onto your site as usual, but also throw auction ads in there. It doesn’t get in the way of adsense and is allowed by both of their terms of services. So, I really think you should try it out. You might very well be someone that earns a considerable amount of money from it. Now, to sign up, click the “Ads by AuctionAds” that is at the bottom of the ad block if you want to be a referral for me since I showed it to you. For all new people that sign up, though…You get $5.00 for signing up. I’d go for it! It’s a free $5.00 and you only need to make five more to get your first pay out. Go ahead and try it. Good luck!
