Earning Money

I am not going to lie, I am absolutely exhausted. It’s been a killer week and I just want to go to sleep. But, I thought that I would leave my wonderful readers with a few links to a few different blog posts that I particularly enjoyed. Check the blogs out, leave ‘em a comment, whatever you really want. But, here are a few articles I really liked:

• Jon talks about how to sell private advertising. That is so damn important, the knowledge of selling your own ads, and I think Jon really touches on it.
• My friend Dave talks about a traffic building mantra that he thinks should work. One link a day can really make all the difference. I should probably get right on that myself.
• Finally, Bob talks about the importance of getting people to take you seriously. Get business cards. Get something. And the best company to get that done is Sheis Design.

Over at RetireYoungandHealthy.com, it was a very short article about how they’ve seen an increase in adsense profits.  I have seen a tremendous increase in earnings on my adsense the past five days and it makes me wonder if perhaps Adsense is turning around since more and more people are leaving.  But, I have to wonder if perhaps it just has something to do with the fact this is Fall and that means more money naturally.

Derek over at his blog, DerekBeau.com talks about pouring all your effort into your website to succeed.  I have to say that I completely agree with Derek.  If you really do want to succeed, you need to treat your website as if it were your child.  You need to nurture it, care for it, and love it and then you can look back and watch as they graduate from college…Or, make you a load of money in regards to a website.

Over at CashQuests.com, they talk about a great way to sell your site for $1000 the lazy way.  I have to say, this is a brilliant way to sell your website for $1000.  And the truth is, you’re really selling it for $1100 because you are going to get the $100.00 first month’s income.  Now, the only thing I might do is instead of selling a link for $1.00 a month, maybe try and sell them for $2.00 or even $3.00.  It might help you to increase how much you could sell the site for.  But regardless, that is a phenomenal idea.
