Theme: Forum Posting
April 24, 2007Now that you have a general understanding of what a forum is (click here if you don’t), I am going to tell you a pretty cool way of making some money on the side posting on forums. One of the hardest things about starting a forum is getting new content on the site. It requires so much effort as a webmaster to continue posting and updating the forum and getting new stuff onto it to make it fresh and appear active to new potential members. Take it from me, working with a forum can be extremely frustrating, but at the same time, very rewarding. However, it is still very frustrating. So, how does this help you?
People that run these forums tend to want help. Now, there are two things that people can do when they want help to ‘populate’ their forum. The first is that they can go to a website that offers forum population. An example of this could be a site this guy runs. This place offers a bunch of writers a place to get jobs for forum posting. It is a really resourceful site. However, that doesn’t always help you out. So, how can this help you? I’ll tell you…Webmasters tend to also hire people that are not part of companies to write posts. I know I have from time to time. Now, the important thing that you need to know is that you should never get weaseled into writing posts for cheap.
What is cheap anyways? The going rate for a post is anywhere from $.1 to $.25 a post. Don’t go below that because getting any money will require far too much time. However, you can really make some nice money from doing these forum posts. A good site to go to to find people hiring this stuff is to check out forums.digitalpoint.com. It really provides a lot of people that are hiring and selling different services. Check it out and maybe you’ll get something. I better get back to studying. Have a great night!
