Theme: Free Article Services For Traffic And Links
September 10, 2007There are other ways to get your links out there without having to send e-mails to people or without having to purchase links. You can offer an article and then in return, get a link to your site. What do I mean? There are sites on the internet that specialize in providing free content to people. So, assume you came along and wanted to get free content for one of your MFA (Made For Adsense) sites, you might find ten different articles and then put them up on your site. Now, the thing to remember is that 9/10, at the bottom of the article, there will be a short bio about the author and usually, there is a link to the person’s site. This is where you can really get some good links and potentially traffic to your site.
Say you run a blog all about computers. You have your site going, you’re writing a new article every day or every other day, you’re really making it a big resource on the web. But, you are not getting enough people knowing about it. Let’s say that you write an article and then realize you’ve already written an article about it. That happens sometimes…You write so many articles and then write one that you’ve already written. So, you’ve now got this article. You could publish it and that wouldn’t be bad because it’s just a refresher for people. But, you could also take the article and then submit it to one of those Free Article Services. Included at the bottom, you can have a little biography about who you are.
Now, someone comes along and decides to use your compelling, interesting, well written article. They put it on their site along with your little biography and voila, you have got a link to your site. Set the anchor text to something that you want to rank for in the search engines and you may find yourself beginning to get towards the top. Now, here is what you want to do…Give a little about yourself. For me, when I do it, I say: “Jacob Cohen-Donnelly is a biology major with a concentration in pre-med. He runs his personal blog and a blog about making money online.” I get those links to my site and voila, I am beginning to rank better and better in the search engines.
Now, the thing to remember when doing this is that you don’t want to submit articles to a Free Article Service and then publish it on your blog. That just looks bad when it comes to the search engines. Unique content will bring you the most traffic without a doubt, so you don’t want to play around with that. You may not get a lot of traffic from it, but you will begin to get more and more links as more and more people start to use what you wrote. Each of those links will help you increase your search engine ranking. And then you’ll get search engine traffic which could really convert into some nice nickels and dimes. Those are just four places to submit articles. There are tons of other places. Even if you just spent about twenty minutes writing an article or two and submitted them to all four of those sites, you might really start to see some links to your site. With those links comes an increase in search engine ranking and that is exactly what you want. So take the time to write the articles. Like I said, blogging is all about how you promote it. And the same goes for any other site. Blogging, running a forum, a content site, or anything else. Writing the content is important, but you need to promote the site the right way. Have a strong offense and a strong defense and you’ll succeed.
